e-Passport contains an embedded chip

When I came home from Washington, D.C., with a new passport February 23, 2015, I discovered that my passport has a biometric chip embedded in the book cover.  No wonder the covers seemed a bit stiff.  The back leaf of the last page says:

“This document contains sensitive electronics.  For best performance, do not bend, perforate or expose to extreme temperatures.”

In addition, on the front of the passport cover is a rectangular symbol near the bottom.  That symbol means the passport has an embedded chip inside the book cover, probably both covers.  There is no perceptible “bulge” that you’d expect from a credit card with a chip, so I suspect that a type of semi-rigid flex circuit is used.

The fact that this passport has a chip embedded chip makes it (and other similar technologies) a precursor to the mark of the beast.  I said precursor–it is not the mark of the beast.  That means the return of Jesus Christ is nearer than we first believed.
